The screen fades in before the countdown even finishes. It was a few seconds too early. The shoreline seems busy today. Waves overlap each other the same way chat messages do. Aquamarine settles in, the stream’s going on live whether they are ready or not.
“Woah—wait, okay okay. Hi, Chat! I’m here! Too early... Again, you say? Yeah, I know. SO, I double check the list of this month’s Pearls of the Tide before our zatsu, ANDDD they go to @HouseOfMajerle, @KibouSouls, and @DiemerHall!”
Aquamarine sits back, feeling satisfied, watching the name ripple through the chat like dropped pebbles.
