According to the latest data from CryptoRank, Deribit Bitcoin futures open interest surged by 94% in October: $170M —> $329M.

Noteworthy is that the current Deribit open interest is on the highest level since March 11.

Since the beginning of October, Bitcoin fees per transaction have nearly tripled: $3.59 —> $10.24.

For the same period of time, Bitcoin total transaction fees also surged significantly (+136%): $1.09M —> $2.58M.

Currently, the market capitalization of Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC) is $1.55B what makes it the 5th largest token issued on the Ethereum blockchain.

Noteworthy is that WBTC is the most popular version of Bitcoin that has been tokenized on Ether. WBTC makes up 78% of the total BTC held on Ethereum: 117,183 out of 149,472.

Bitcoin is recording higher lows and is trading well above $13,000 while most alts in the red.

As is usually the case, for altcoins to restart its bounce, Bitcoin needs to pump first, and correction.

Bitcoin Addresses Holding BTC Worth $10, $100, and $1000 Hits All-Time High.

Glassnode Chief Technology Officer, Rafael Schultze-Kraft’s tweeted that the number of investors holding $10, $100, and $1000 worth of BTC has gone up through the roof and established a new top.

Number of Bitcoin addresses holding at least $10 worth of BTC has reached 17.6M, $100 worth of BTC is at 9.7M and 1000 worth of BTC touched 3.6M a new all-time highs.

According to another bitcoin address update of Glassnode, now there are 20,000 wallets owning more than a million dollars worth of BTC. The on-chain analysis firm noted that this is the highest number seen since January 2018.
