After no inconsiderable degree of deliberation, we find ourselves obliged to withdraw our SFS correspondence from public notice for the present. We must beg the pardon of those who had been desirous of entering into mutualship with us. To those who have already favoured us with their letters, or who are yet awaiting a reply upon such matters, we entreat a further patience: your correspondence remains in our keeping and shall receive every proper attention in due course. For the confidence, goodwill, and consideration so generously afforded to us, we remain most sincerely and gratefully obliged.

The helios had fallen into slumber the moment they gathered underneath the amber gleam of lamppost. Letheris’ Asa arrived first to hand out warm drinks to everyone. Houndric’s Haum rubbed her hands together to keep herself warm, while Lavoiré’s Sui let out a small chuckle, enjoying the cool breeze. On the other side, Reedwart’s Anxin and Scenier’s Anxin carried lantern-shaped flashlights then took a picture there. The peaceful roads seemed endless, so Clyborne’s Dohee pointed toward the riverside path and suggested that they follow it.

As they began their walk, Bellinors’ Ryul and Liu’s Ryul started throwing jokes around that the others found rather silly. Schäfer’s Jihoon gave amused reactions, as though he wanted to begin a joke battle. But Thimblëa’s Jiwoo and Stahlbaum’s Jiwoo hushed them, wanting to film a night vlog. Meanwhile, Norvein’s Ohyul pulled his digicam out to capture both them and the scenery. Behind, Wendissle’s Eunchae and Meirhart’s Eunchae talked about how the night air carried the fragrance of rain-soaked plants.

A few steps ahead, Shardwhyte’s Hanjin tried to wander close to the water’s edge, with Leutwin’s Woonhak following behind while holding a late-night snack. Afterward, they chose to remain there for a while, enjoying the occasional moment wrapped in serene. By the time they finally headed home, the helios was still in deep slumber, but the remembrance of their quiet night walk would linger far beyond dawn.
