Hi, Emes! I went out for a bit today after hearing “Ce, I want to go with you!” “Ce, take me with you!” about ten times before I left. As much as I love my little siblings, I was craving some me time, so I headed out alone 😝. The weather was too nice to stay indoors, so I just walked around, enjoyed the sunshine and took a few pictures along the way. I ended up staying out longer than I expected, hehe. Hello, neighbors! Today, I, Carmen, and Ian, escaped to the beach for a little break from it all! The sun was warm, the wind was just right, and the waves kept coming in like they were cheering us on.

We spend more time running along the beach and squatting every few steps just to pick up shells that we feel are “too pretty to leave behind.”

Ian kept calling me every few minutes like—

“Ceceee, look at this!”
“I’m coming, you’re the one who’s too fast!”

We laughed non-stop, truly like little kids again, and somehow, that afternoon became something simple but super fun.

At the end of the day, our hands are full of shells, our shoes are full of sand, and our hearts feel a lot lighter. <3
