August bids its final holiday farewell with another gathering at our beloved castle estate. Our end-of-month tradition calls for the whole family to meet over brunch before the horses take their share of the day. I woke to the morning light and began with a little yoga before making my way downstairs to join everyone at the table. Brunch stretched into lively conversations and little updates from each corner of the family before we made our way towards the stables. Each of us took a horse of our own and wandered through the estate together with the sea opening behind the grounds and the gardens stretching wide around us. Once the ride came to its end, the horses were given their well-earned baths while we stayed nearby and kept each other company. The afternoon carried on until the light began to soften and the children slowly disappeared into their own plans with their respective partners. Papi and I chose to let them have the evening to themselves, leaving the estate to settle into a gentler rhythm after a day spent together. Another month leaves behind its own little collection of memories and this one finds its place among the pages of Loughrey for #SundayAtParentSync! 💝
