It’s Saturday night, and the 95 Fossil gathered for another garage band practice.

Langforth’s Beomgyu blasted loud guitar riffs while Luthien’s Anton tried to outplay him with his own electric guitar, better, at least in his mind. Luevine’s Jeno quitely softened the noise with his acoustic guitar, while Loughrey’s Dowoon kept the bass steady enough to hold everyone together.

Heisenbërg’s Karina and Mirthwood’s Sangwon argued over the drums every few minutes.
“Too fast.”
“You’re just late.”
“Count properly and shut up.”

Then Mondcroft’s Gawon randomly touched the piano and accidentally created a melody that made everyone pause. Wyrmharrow’s Giselle layered soft synth sounds over it until the messy garage started feeling like home.

To strangers, we probably look like people who can’t get along. But honestly, that’s just our way of loving each other.

After spending the whole International Mother’s Day with so much happiness, all of us finally gathered together for dinner with full hearts and tired smiles. Sörguine’s Gubba, Shardwhyte’s Bunda, Heishi’s Amma, Zhu’s Mimuy, Marélique’s Mima, Altajne’s Mami, Ellsword’s Mami, Volkovich’s Mamo, Letheris’ Mami, Bloometh’s Mama, Wheils’ Yisa, Bellinors’ Mama, Wendissle’s Mima, Mills’ Mami, Klein’s Mama, Velthrone’s Ibuk, Bosche’s Mami and Loughrey’s Mami sat together sharing stories about our day, laughing over little things, showing the gifts our families gave us, and talking about the sweet moments we spent with our children and loved ones.

At one point, one of us laughed softly while holding a gift bag and said, "Being a mother really feels tiring sometimes.. But days like this make everything worth it." The others immediately nodded in agreement before another replied with a smile, "Especially when they remember even the smallest things about us." Hearing that made the whole table grow quieter for a second, that warm kind of understanding only mothers could share together.

As dinner went on, we kept exchanging stories between bites of food and little teasing jokes. Some talked about funny moments with their children earlier, while others spoke about how emotional they unexpectedly became today. Just a group of mothers sitting together at the end of a happy day, feeling grateful for the love we receive from the families we continue to care for every single day. No matter how different each family is, tonight reminded us that we all share the same happiness of being loved, cared for, and cherished as mothers in our own homes. 🤍

A little late-posting from the sweetest moments spent alongside these lovely mothers. I genuinely adored the time we shared together, from the comforting conversations to all the delightful food recommendations kindly passed down by our far trendier children. Somehow, simple moments like these always manage to leave the prettiest traces behind. Thank you so much for allowing me to become a small part of this beautiful gathering, it was far more lovely than words could properly describe. ♥️
