Heyho Demoors, Happy Weekend. If you saw a group of six people taking over the sidewalk and laughing way too loud today, yeah... that was definitely us. Navigating the streets with Myldemoor’s Shinyu, Norvein’s Ohyul and MontgoIfier’s Sungho experience in the best way possible. From Ostendl’s Carmen, Mills’s Moka directions to Duvall’s Kya random stories and everyone else just trying to keep up— you can clearly see it’s not just strolling around, but lowkey babysitting too...

Guten Tag, Vellas! How’s everyone’s day going? Mine’s been pretty good so far. This afternoon, Ce Chungah and I decided to go out together to a café and a pizza place. (Honestly, I was feeling a bit lazy at first, but apparently Cece said she was treating me today.) And since I was bored anyway, I ended up accepting the invitation. I mean… How often do you get invited out and treated at the same time, right? 😏 After finally setting a date for it, the day eventually arrived. Cece and I agreed to meet in front of my neighborhood alley. Not too long after, she showed up in a black car driven by her personal chauffeur. She rolled down the window with this annoyingly smug smile, like she already knew I was about to lose the aura battle today.

“Get in already, it’s hot,” she said.

So I got into the car. On the way there, we talked about all the insane things that happened last night until the whole car got ridiculously noisy. Cece was laughing so loudly that even the driver glanced at us through the front mirror. Meanwhile, I was just leaning back in my seat, laughing every now and then because her stories somehow kept getting more unhinged. Eventually, we arrived at our first destination—the café Cece had been wanting to visit since forever. The place was packed. Even from outside, you could already see groups of people chatting, taking photos, and crowding every corner. The brick walls were ridiculously aesthetic too, so naturally Cece immediately told me to stand still so she could take pictures of me. Meanwhile, my hands were already full of shopping bags and bread. 😭

We also spent quite a while sitting inside the café. Cece kept talking about random things while occasionally making fun of my outfit, saying I looked like “some lost South Jakarta hangout kid.” Even though she was the one who forced me to wear that purple cap in the first place. Since the lighting inside was so good, I ended up taking mirror selfies while holding my coffee. Honestly, they turned out pretty decent, even though half my face was hidden behind my mask.

By around six in the afternoon, we finally left the café and headed to the pizza place that had already been on our list from the start. The sky was getting a little cloudy, and the streets were getting busier too, but somehow the vibes only made the evening walk feel even better.

As soon as we arrived at the place, I immediately ordered two pizzas. One for me and Cece, and the other one for Duvall. “So he won’t sulk about not being invited,” Cece said with a quiet laugh. While waiting for our order to arrive, we sat back comfortably and continued the conversation that had gotten interrupted earlier in the car. At first, everything was normal. We talked about people, life, random things—basically whatever came to mind. But eventually the atmosphere grew quieter because we both got distracted by our phones.

And then suddenly— “KO, I SWEAR! So apparently, that… you know… THAT person—!”

I literally jolted in my seat because Cece Chungah’s voice suddenly got so loud out of nowhere. Some people around us even turned to look at our table for a second. Obviously, my curiosity kicked in immediately, so I put my phone down and looked at her.

“What is it, Ce? Spill the tea already!”

Cece instantly pulled her chair closer to the table. She looked deadly serious, but also way too excited, like she was about to expose classified national secrets. And from there… Our heated conversation officially began. Right in the middle of all that gossip, Cece suddenly shoved her phone toward me. Her mood changed ridiculously fast.

“Ko, take candid pictures of me. I’m gonna pretend I’m laughing, and then you take the photo, okay?”

And well, as the devoted younger sibling that I am, I simply obeyed. So for the next few minutes, I unexpectedly switched careers and became Cece’s personal photographer. She started posing like she didn’t notice the camera, pretending to look out the window dramatically, pretending to laugh to herself, and at one point even said, “Don’t make it look posed. It has to feel natural!” Right… sure, Ce. Totally natural.

Thankfully, the pictures actually turned out pretty nice, so she immediately smiled in satisfaction and went, “Now that’s more like it, Ko.” Not long after that, our pizzas finally arrived. Honestly, the smell hit us instantly and both of us just went completely silent for a few seconds. We were starving at that point, so we started eating half of it there while continuing our conversation. But of course, because Ce Chungah is the queen of aesthetics, before touching the food she still made me photograph the pizzas and drinks first.

According to her, the evening lighting there was perfect and my photos looked “Instagrammable.” So naturally, I ended up taking pictures from every possible angle like some professional food blogger. After both pizzas were packed up and we finally collected everything, it turned out it was already around five in the evening. The sky had slowly started getting darker too, so we decided it was time to head home. The ride back felt much quieter compared to earlier. Cece was busy sorting through all the photos I took of her, while I just sat there feeling completely full, exhausted, and oddly satisfied after the whole day.
