the night felt awkward at first, neither of us knew how to act anymore after everything that happened between us. still, Coathe’s Yujin ended up dragging me, Caelthwynn’s Sarang, into a restaurant and turned it into chaos after insisting we order “a little more food” even though the table was overflowing with ramyeon and melted cheese everywhere. and i spent most of the time laughing at him struggling to handle the tongs while pretending he had everything under control. after dinner, we wandered streets and stopped by an arcade where he confidently said, “watch this, i'll win on the first try,” only to fail over&over while i laughed harder than i should've. later, we sat near the riverside and he looked over and asked, “does this still feel weird for you?” i just stared at the water for a moment before shrugging, “a little.. but not as much as i expected.” after that, we're walking side by side under the lights, talking like old habits never really disappeared, even if things between us had already changed. 🤍
