🔴 Many believe #Netaji coined the slogan 'Jai Hind'. But #DidYouKnow it was first used by Zain-ul Abideen Hasan who gave up his studies in Germany & became Netaji's aide?

🔴 The story goes that while in Germany, Netaji had asked his followers in Europe to help him find a common national greeting that would have a nice ring to it & be acceptable to all communities.

🔵Abid came up with 'Jai Hindustan ki', which was shortened to 'Jai Hind'.

🔴 An enthusiastic Netaji immediately embraced it & started using it to address as a greeting before his speeches
