2) The city and its cultural legacy are the end products of three kingdoms : the Cholas, the Vijaynagar and the Maratta kings.🅾️

4) Pay attention to that fact that entranceway of this 'Big Temple' has built during Maratta period.... then there are Gopurams made by Rajaraja (CHOLAs) like Keralanthakakan Thiruvasal, Rajarajan Thiruvasal.
