⭕️Government of UT – Ladakh has approached the Indian Institute of Remote Sensing (IIRS), a unit of Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) for developing “Spatial Data Infrastructure geoportal ‘Geo-Ladakh’ for UT-Ladakh”.
⭕️ This portal will be used to find, access, distribute & contribute geospatial information and its associated geographic services such as navigation, buffer, measurements analysis, metadata catalogue, map catalogue and more

🇮🇳Between 7 & 15 Dec 1971, while IAF fighters kept the skies safe, a small fleet of Mi-4 helicopters flew over 400 sorties & airlifted nearly 4000 troops & 100 tonnes of load across various rivers in the then East Pakistan

🇮🇳The Heli-Lift of such a large force to Sylhet, Raipura, Narsingdi and Baidya Bazar gave a strong impetus to the Indian Army's advance to Dhaka. The operations remain a remarkable example of astute planning, audacious execution and seamless jointmanship🪖🪖
