actually had a completely different idea for this. I was gonna tell our whole story from the very beginning, but halfway through writing it, I just sat there and thought… “do I really wanna spend this letter talking about how we met?” not really. because I think my favorite part of us isn’t the beginning anymore. It’s everything after that. It’s all the little moments we never planned for, the conversations that somehow became my favorite part of the day, and all the ways you slowly became someone I couldn’t imagine my life without. I can’t even tell you when I started loving you, because there wasn’t a specific moment. there wasn’t some big realization or some movie scene where everything suddenly made sense. It just happened so quietly that I didn’t even notice. one day you were just someone I talked to, and before I knew it… you became the person I wanted to tell everything to. I don’t really know how we got here, but I’m really glad we did.

I don’t think you even realize how much you’ve changed my days. It’s weird, honestly. now every time something happens, my first thought is always, “I have to tell you this.” doesn’t matter if it’s something funny, something random, or even something that made my day a little worse. somehow, you’re always the first person that comes to mind. I don’t even remember when that happened. It just did. little by little, talking to you became my favorite part of the day without me even realizing it. some days we’d talk for hours, and other days it was just a few messages, but somehow it never really mattered. just knowing you were there was already enough to make my day feel a little better. and now, no matter how my day goes, it never really feels complete until I’ve told you all about it. maybe that’s why I never noticed myself falling for you. It never happened all at once… it just happened, little by little, until loving you felt like the most normal thing in the world.

I still think it’s kinda crazy how all of this happened. I mean… I wasn’t even paying attention. I wasn’t counting the days or waiting to fall for you. It just happened while we were being us. while we were talking about random things, laughing over the dumbest stuff, and telling each other about our days like it was the most normal thing ever. looking back now, I think that’s my favorite part. nothing was forced. nothing felt rushed. there wasn’t a moment where everything suddenly changed. you just slowly became someone I couldn’t go a day without talking to. then somehow, checking my phone started meaning “i hope it’s you.” telling you about my day became something I did without even thinking. and hearing about yours became one of my favorite parts of mine. I don’t know when all those little things turned into love. I just know that somewhere along the way… they did.

i don’t think you know how much you’ve become a part of my life. like… every time something happens, you’re always the first person I wanna tell. doesn’t even matter if it’s something big or just something random. It’s kinda funny, ‘cause I never expected any of this. but somewhere along the way, you became my comfort without me even realizing it. I know I don’t say it enough, but you really mean a lot to me. More than you’ll probably ever know. If I had to explain how I feel with just one song, it’d probably be this one.

before you open this, i just want to say thank you. thank you for everything you’ve given me this past month, whether you realized it or not. this pdf is just a small way of showing how much i appreciate you. i hope every page reminds you of how happy you’ve made me. happy first month, and i can’t wait to make even more memories with you.
