After a lovely journey from their home, Lian and Prairie arrives at a romantic restaurant not far. In Bangkok, there are a lot of places to list for a romantic dinner. But Prairie crossed many of them from his list a long time ago. He wanted something classic, something to remind him of home and of the man he loves the most. Welcome to: View ARUN Restaurant & BAR. Located in the heart of Bangkok and just across the famous Wat Arun, Prairie picked this location for such a special occasion as tonight.

As they arrive, Prairie gently guides his boyfriend, Lian, towards a table decorated with beautiful flowers and a bucket full of ice, wine, beer, and all the joy they'll celebrate tonight. Yet, the dinner hasn't been served. Something else will be served in advance before the food gets into their tummies.

Prairie then takes Lian for a walk towards a large billboard screen not far from their set table. He holds Lian's hands tightly, and slowly stops right in front of the screen. By Prairie's little nod, a video appeared on the screen. For a little while, Prairie stopped talking and lets Lian watch the video until it ends. After the video ends, Prairie turns facing his boyfriend, holding both his hands tightly. A smile appears on his face as some gentle tears form inside his eyes. With a gentle voice coming out of his mouth, he starts putting our words:

"Hia," said Prairie, as he starts.

"Fyuh, I've told you that we're doing this since fifteen days ago, but it doesn't get any easier," Prairie continues, trembling like an earthquake hits his core.

"I made this video for you, Hia."

"A video filled by our memories."

"We met for the first time on May 10th, 2026. It was practically a month ago, but I have always felt like I've known you for such a long time."

"You met me and immediately expressed your purpose of pursuing me. I told you about my Papa and you immediately went to him to ask for his blessing. It wasn't easy, we both know that. But you ended up bagging his blessing anyway. Thank you, Hia. Thank you, even when Papa pushes you away and told you to get to know me first, you don't give up. Instead, you showed me more about how much you care about me."

"In the past, I have never had a decent boyfriend. After receiving my hand in a relationship, they changed, they left, they acted like I don't exist."

"But, you're different."

"Thank you Hia, for showing me how much you care about me."

"Thank you Hia, for all the huge amount of love you have shown me."

"Thank you Hia, for wanting to get to know my personality, my struggles, and everything I have to live with."

While Prairie speaks, a waiter sneakily put a large flower bucket on a table not far from them. It is a different table from the one they will use to have dinner. Prairie sniffs a little, realizing that he might let out a tear before even saying the most important piece.

He immediately walks to the table and takes the flower bucket. He then gives the flower onto Lian's embrace.

"Ah, this bucket is heavy," Prairie said, laughing to ease up the atmosphere.

He takes a deep breath, before continuing his words for Lian.

"Hia, I really don't know what will happen in our future, but I know that I want you to be in it."

"I want to always spend time with you."

"I want you to always do those schedules messages you try so hard to do that you'll always get to say good morning first."

"I want to always say good bye and I love you before going offline, just to see your sweet gesture when you say, 'last chat di hia'."

"Happy first mensiversary Hia. This is our first ever milestone and I hope there will be a lot more to celebrate in the future."

Slowly, Prairie lets go of Lian's hands from his grasp. He takes the bucket of flowers from his embrace, preparing him for what comes ahead. Prairie takes another deep breath, while posing his stare deeply right into Lian's eyes. Without even blinking, Prairie takes several steps back and position his back facing the screen. Lian is in front of him, looking right into both the screen and Prairie's figure.

A few seconds after Prairie stepped back, another video starts playing at the back.

The video pictures the two of them at a friends' wedding, giving speech to them as a new couple. Back then, Prairie has always imagined how would it been if some day, he and Lian also get married. Up until today, it has always been a dream, one that Prairie hopes to accomplish alongside Lian one day.

While the video plays, Prairie does only one thing: looking into both of Lian's eyes to look for reactions that might go downhill. Prairie realizes that the idea of marriage is a lot to consider. In the future, it might involve a priest, asking Papa for more blessings, holding a reception, and eventually it will end in growing a small family with little steps in it. The image of it alone can send Prairie into a million thoughts about what can go wrong.

Nevertheless, the video ends anyway. Prairie then takes out a box he has prepared before from one of his pockets. He shoves it in front of Lian, while still looking deeply into his eyes.

"Hia, I know that... I'm the submissive in this relationship. But I don't want you to be the only one who asks, because it's just not how this... queer relationship works."

"I have felt such a great amount of love from you. I can't stop worrying if you have received the same amount of love from me. But, I hope you do."

"I love you."

"...more than anything in the world."

"I want to be your lawfully wedded husband."

"I want to live under the same roof with you."

"I want to start my mornings with you and I want to end my evenings with you."

"I want to make you breakfasts, lunches, dinners, desserts, and snacks."

"I also want to enjoy every little thing you make, just like that cake you made for me once before."

"I know what I'm asking you tonight would probably be the hardest question you'll have to answer in your entire life."

"But I'll just head on and ask you this, Hia."

"...Will you marry me?"

"Please?"
