Before you, I never thought much of love. It seemed like a beautiful thing meant for other people, something I could admire but never quite imagine having for myself. I had grown rather comfortable with the idea of walking through life without needing someone to call mine. Relationships, to me, always seemed too complicated, as though loving someone meant learning how to make room for an endless feelings, expectations, and misunderstandings. People feeling's get hurt, I just can't see my self into that kind of thing.

I, often wondered whether something as delicate as love could remain beautiful once life began asking more of it. Perhaps I was simply too cautious to believe that people could love each other deeply without eventually becoming tired of trying to understand one another. But somehow, growing weary of trying to understand one another. For the longest time, I thought love was beautiful in theory, but far less certain when lived.

And somehow, the things I had once been so certain about began to feel less certain. You never had to convince me that love could be beautiful; you simply showed me what it looked like when it was given with sincerity. You showed me how is it feels to be loved and to be in love with sincerest ways, taught me that love is supposed to heal than hurt.

With you, everything stopped feel complicated, it makes me stop trying to and became something I could simply feel. You made me realize that love was never meant to be perfect. Perhaps its warmth lies in having someone worth understanding, worth choosing, and worth finding your way back to, even when things are not always easy. And, somehow, you truly are the person who made me willing to learn all of it.
