The sea was so vast today, and we (Altefiore's Bao Shangen and Altefiore's Wang Anyu) were just tiny shells on its shore. Uncle Anyu said, “You shouldn’t go into the water, Mei. What if you get eaten by jellyfish?” I laughed, but maybe he’s right. Uncle always says funny things like that while pretending not to care, but he still carries my backpack when I get tired. I’m still someone who only dares to touch the waves with my toes.
